Where can I get a pair of safety boots?

I applied at a job that states having safety boots as a requirement. Never even heard of them. What are they and where can I get a pair (are they expensive?)?

A shoe shop, a camping shop or an army surplus shop should be able to supply safety boots. They are heavy duty boots with very thick soles and steel toecaps. They should be around £35 to £70. Something like that.

find out from your employer where the best place to pick some up are. there maybe a safety supply store on the job site...
Reply:You can get steel toes boots just about anywhere, they can get very expensive depending on the brand, just like anything else.
Reply:Walmart, Target, K Mart, Payless, The Shoe Source, all have a section with steel toe safety shoes. they are not very expensive.
Reply:I think they mean steel toe boots...they sell those at WalMart and they are not too expensive
